Hi Everyone,
I hope all of you are well and doing some awesome art,so sorry for the delay in seeing all your lovely new art, but as you all know i am suffering a shoulder injury which requires an op, I am on the emergancy list hehe which means I could be waiting months, I am also allergic to most drugs and its taken some time to sort out the pain I was in, but luckily the docs have found one I can take, phew lol, I am a lot more at ease with the pain now, I have also had my very great friend over from Northern Ireland for a wee visit and yesterday I was contacted to appear on BBC Radio Bristol, they have seen a copy of my book, My Art Has Heart, isbn 9781449035853,
The agency which offered me this book contract early last year has sent them a copy, and they are very excited about it, This interview goes on air at 11.40 this morning, to say I have butterflies is an understatement lol mine are the size of eagles, hehe but really I am so excited, Talk soon, much luv, ,dawnx

Yes this shoulder problem has been such a pain, and i mean that literally, you see I am so allergic to most medications and its taken an age to get decent pain relief, luckily they heard of a new drug which they got and now its bearable, which is great now that this interview has come about, hehe the agency was flapping just in case i was in having my op, but the waiting list even for an emergancy op which they say I need is just so long, apparently I have to wait to get a phone call, many thanks for the congrats and support, afterall, all you artists on rb are the ones who got me to beleive in my own art too, hehe I only joined rb to learn more, as i was such a new artist and I just adore looking at all new art on here, its like traveling the world in a few hours hehe I will let you all know how it goes later, lol unless you hear it yourself lol,dawnx

Many congrats dawn…sorry you have issues with your shoulder….I know the UK makes you wait forever to see a doc…I couldn’t deal with that well…when I was there and found out how long it would take, I went to a private because I had overseas insurance

I know about the waiting, my husbands family has cancer, and last year he found a lump, it took a month before the dr. even had time to do a biopsy!
talk about being on pins and needles!
We just had to trust the Lord, and He watched over us!

aww many thanks linda for your kindness, yes there is always something to do, now this interview is oout of the way i am going to start putting pressure on the hospital about the date of my op, you see my hubby is disabled and with my bad shoulder a lot of work is added to my 3 childrens shoulders hehe, the only thing i am frustrated about is that its my drawing hand/arm hehe so on quite moments i am trying to draw with my left hand too. I am not greedy and i do worry that i may be too blessed and i dont want the bubble to burst if you know what i mean,but if i can inspire others to help save some creatures of this planet then i will be a happty woman. sorry to hear of your husbands families trouble, what a scare you must have had, i have a little of that happening with my parents, so i know the strain this worry can cause. yes we have to trust, and all the way through since joining rb i feel that i am being guided, dont know why, and sometimes i look at my art and book and think wow thats some of mine hehe a really strange feeling, I have always trusted my instincs and will let it lead me to where i need to be, lol its just that i dont know where yet, but i am ready and willing to work hard hehe but first i have to get this operation out of the way. thanks again sweetie, your comments have touched my heart, big hugzz dawnx

i sure will if i need too lol, i have heard that there is a recording that they keep for another 5 days but you have to fast foreward to 2.38 and i am only on for a few mins hehe i dont know whether they had a delay on something, as it sounds as though i am talking before the presenter finished hehe and i know while in there it was not like that, as he pointed to me when to talk lol, i dont know if the book will gain sales, or in fact sell any pictures, but i intend to have as much fun as i can doing it, if i do do well then i want to help these poor endangered tigers first, then maybe be able to help some other poor creature or human, i love all equally, life is precious and i dont want to waste a miniute of it hehe, i just want this surgery done now as its holding me back and i am getting soooo frustrated, but the weathers been nice so i am taking lots of pictures of my roses before they all dye off, i can use a blackberry phone left handed, so at least i can play with some pics, hehe thanks again for your kindness,dawnxx
