SAD

SAD
Are you looking into my eyes,
Are they the saddest you have ever seen,
My song not heard anymore,
I have only a few relative’s left,
I have no place to roam,
Nowhere to call my home,
So,
When you look into my eyes,
Remember me,
Mine were sad long before yours.

This is very moving to me because urban development has destroyed so many animals habitats. Colorado is a large state but only has 4 million people. The cities are growing so fast and the animals are paying the price. I lot of people like me are saying, “enough!” Very good, Dawn.

  • dawndavies replied

thanks you lori, but there has to be room for all, we have to be safe and so have they, conservation should mean that, some of these great beasts are dangerous and humans need to be carful too, but we all belong to this planet and maybe one day one of these creatures could be the saving of us, so glad that you like this picture Dawn

many thanks for liking this image, this was done for a challenge, at the time I heard of the conservation and protection of these in the usa was being lifted and that they were again going to be hunted, i dont see the point in trying to conserve a species only to let them be hunted to near extiction again, surly that would harm their gene pool, but oh boy i found it so hard to do this picture to get a look of sadness, so i am delighted that you like this, dawnx
