My favorite picture today as Tanvir was chuffling (talking) to me through the fence, not the clearest I know, but we were breathing the same air, i could smell his and i am sure he could smell mine, wow, so close, this image will stay with me till my dying day.

I have had this dream of doing this since i was a child, If I never do another picture I would be happy, this young two year old tiger has acknowleged me since i saw him for the first time 6 weeks ago, my first time seeing a live tiger too, on my 2nd visit the keeper noticed the response from this tiger and told me about this coarse they were planing, and i signed up for it at once, god i was sooooooo excited hehe could not sleep the night before, and i had a great time, but on this photo i was one my knees with only chain link between us and he wanted to get close but not in a nasty way and he was rubbing hiis face along the fencing and chuffling away at me, as I had the camara there he was right there trying to get closer and we really did connect, well for me anyway, i was poleaxed, this tiger got my heart and it will stay with me forever, I have always wanted to help endangered big cats but never had the funds to do anything about it, i have made a callender up of the parks animals and any earnings the park can have and it will go directly to the tigers. I will also go back on many occasions and see their progress and help out again and again hehe delighted that you like this, he really did poleaxed me, love it hehe dawnxx

aww god linaji, he really made me feel that we were connected, sounds so corny, god i am 51 years old hehe but on that breathe i knew i would do my upmost to help him and others to keep them on this planet, if i never do another picture I dont care, this picture means the world to me, daft aint i hehe dawnxx

many thanks gail, i am so glad you have felt this too, as i felt quite silly, trying to descibe how it felt, he knows me for sure, even the keepers have seen it, i had a fabulous time there and will be going back often, and if i never do another picture i would be happy with this shot, we really did breathe the same air, i will do my upmost to help him and his pen mates and this park in order to keep them on this planet, he stole my heart, even before he met me ,dawnxxx

Hi again, Dawn, your “poleaxed” is the BEST description! I completely lost my heart this spring to a moments-old pronghorn fawn that was still wet with afterbirth when I found it; and I was there for its first tentative kneeling crawl, then its first steps (toward me… I was completely a goner). Poleaxed for sure! But a TIGER, wow to share breath with a tiger!

Oh wow, how beauitful a moment that must have been, and it stays with you dont it, I admit to being over the moon when tanvir first took notice of me on my first ever visit and first time i saw a tiger for real, he has honored me and made me feel humble, and yes I am a goner for sure, and we really did share a breath, just amazing, I cannot wait to got back, mind you i would never be silly, anyway no one is allowed in with him, a fence or door will always be between, and my name is already down to help with cubs if any are born there and need caring for, I just hope people dont get too bored with me adding more tiger pictures, lol and do you know a guy on here in the very beginning used to call me mrs dolittle hehe apt dont ya think haha dawnx
