I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Watercolor. I’m currently a graphic artist at a large pharmaceutical company, where I’ve been for 17 years. I like to work in pen and ink, watercolor, papier mache and acrylics. I am married and have 2 sons, 9 and 5.

Painting in oils.
I finished a small painting in oils this week. It’s the first time I’ve painted in oils since I’ve had a class in it in school. I’ve never really liked the slow drying time so I didn’t continue with it. Watercolors were more my style. Recently, a friend told me about a type of oils that are faster drying and clean up with water. So I tried them.
