Air Vent - Wreck of the King Cruiser by

Long ago, air passed through this vent for the last time. Ship sank years ago after a controversial collision with Anemone Reef, south of Phuket Thailand. The King Cruiser was the ferry between Phi Phi Island and Phuket. Always full of good folks having fun, and I guess the carrier of good things to the Island of Phi Phi. I love this Dive Site, but more often than not, there are seriously heavy currents or even worse – rubbish visibility. It’s quite deep too, so you can’t stay down on it for long. I was lucky with this photo and my little Pana Lumix in its waterproof box. Rare opportunity.

Just upgraded from the Canon 40D to the Canon 5D3. Had left photography for a while apart from underwater using a few generations of the small but very efficient pocket size Panasonic Lumix point n shoot – blaaaah.
U/W photos since 2011 with the Pocket Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ20 inside a Pana waterproof housing. It’s great for traveling OS for light weight. The new DSLR and gear is heavy, especially with Diving equip etc. Any suggestions for a solution would be greatly appreciated
