yeah, I see the face! But I also like the subtle colour and peeling paint. It’s quite restful in an urban way…if that makes sense!

Hey Louise. I like the worn wall texture. I wouldn’t have thought of restful, interesting.
Some of the alleys in the Melbourne CBD are amazing. I like the old cast iron pipes and metal fixtures like those above.

I think I say restful because it kind of reminds me of siesta time in Europe – being In some old room in the back streets of a village…dosing to the sound of street life below. Even though the view isn’t always traditionally pretty, it can be soothing!! That’s why I like your shot – similar feel for me! :D

This sort of shot is an apect of Melbourne I enjoy a lot. The pipes, the peeling facade. A dingy industrial, rundown sort of vibe. Nicely composed shot.
