Yes… definately a face there!!!
Louise Cooke
yeah, I see the face! But I also like the subtle colour and peeling paint. It’s quite restful in an urban way…if that makes sense!
davoid
Hey Louise. I like the worn wall texture. I wouldn’t have thought of restful, interesting.
Some of the alleys in the Melbourne CBD are amazing. I like the old cast iron pipes and metal fixtures like those above.
Louise Cooke
I think I say restful because it kind of reminds me of siesta time in Europe – being In some old room in the back streets of a village…dosing to the sound of street life below. Even though the view isn’t always traditionally pretty, it can be soothing!! That’s why I like your shot – similar feel for me! :D

Hey Louise. Thanks for the explanation, very evocative.

Thanks Alyson. I like your avatar pic. You look so perky in it.
Thank you Rosh. I appreciate your praise.

This sort of shot is an apect of Melbourne I enjoy a lot. The pipes, the peeling facade. A dingy industrial, rundown sort of vibe. Nicely composed shot.

I really like the backs of buildings; all the cast iron pipes mixed with the newer stuff. Melbourne’s alleys ‘n’ lanes are amazing to me.

It almost has a cartoon feel sometimes, so that would be cool to see.
