Hi everyone! I became interested in photography when I realised I had virtually no photos of my wife Sharon. I decided to by a small digital camera with a large zoom, in the hope this might enable me to capture some images of her with out the usual hiding behind others, or turning away from anyone with a camera. This failed miserably as I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Feeling disapointed but not discouraged, I had a chat to my young friend from work Dave. Plus I started reading all I could on the net. To my surprise I found it all fascinating. The images of Australia That I came accross on the net sparked something with in. Then a day trip to Toolangi with my young mate Dave and our cameras clinched it, (taking pics of Sharon got dumped). I have been hooked on landscapes ever since. While my skills leave rather a lot to be desired my enthusiasm is growing with every new outing. A wonderfull thing about photographing landscapes is that I am now seeng places I would have never seen before, plus I find my self looking at familar sites in a new light. I will post some images shortly in the hope that some of you might get a small amount of the pleaseure from viewing them that I got takeing them. All critisism will be most welcomed as I have long way to go in my quest to capture some images that are worthy of this amazing country.
Davo.
