Moon Castle by

High in the mountains of Asteria, sits the castle manor of Lord Sivad. The Lord was so disheartened when his true love began first spending less and less time with him, growing more and more distant and when their conversations used to be filled with light, happiness and love. Knowing he was only a month away from completing his work helping the kingdoms poor so that they might have light, food and clean water, and finally planning to be united with his love. He dropped to his knees and prayed for insight and God told him said she was seeing another. Heartbroken after giving his heart and soul to his princess and wanting to devote his life to please her, the Lord asked the princess why would she break his heart like that and she replied “She said she was glad the Lord knew! She was tired of waiting, she was lonely and needed to receive comfort from a man during the Lord’s absence, but the Lord could still chose to marry her when he finally journeyed back to her home land” Feeling his heart being torn from his body and believing that he had lost all the remaining beauty in his life, Lord Sivad commissioned a castle to be built so high in the mountains of Asteria, that the only thing seen for miles was the tops of the clouds. This was so that no one could see his tears flowing from his soul for the rest of his life, but the light of the moon….for he feared in his heart she would never be there when he arrived.

Very nicely done, Steve, especially the details on the castle and the way it’s lit! Great image of the moon to, and what a sad story, does it continue?

  • Thank you Syd! As to the story, yes I plan on continuing it, we will see how it evolves.
