At the turn of the last century life was a the same time harder and much simpler. The focus of people was more towards family and friends. We did not have the separation due to the electronic age, families sat down together and enjoyed meals together and discussed the days events. One of the main concerns each night was the thought of being able to see the rising sun. Lets try to bring that same closeness and love back into the families, and together we can greet the rising sun of a new world.
This image title is from the Animals hit song “House of the Rising Sun” released in 1964. This song was done in one take and was a immediate hit!
I’m amazed at how much family stuff we did, from croquet to 50 kinds of card games, board games, family TV, vacations and outings, and me, the rebel, somehow I didn’t rebel against that, I guess it seemed right! And how right YOU are! the reflections in this alone are marvelous, love the sky!
Thank you Syd, I agree 100% I really miss those times playing together as a family. I appreciate the comments!
Think these days people place comfort ahead of love. Further control of externals and the avoidance of insecurity is the comfort most of us seek. To me this is at odds with open relationship and love.
I agree Tony, for how can you have a growing and nurturing love relationship without opening your heart and soul, yes this does also open a person to the possibility of being hurt….but without trust how can you truly blend together.
