New Moon

The Tree
and The Wind
slid
against
each other
under
the deep
blue
velvet night.
They
swayed
and they
bent
and they
whispered
seductive
secrets
into
the dark.
The Tree
was crowned
with a
constellation
of
stars
and
The Wind
used clouds
for a
cape.
The Moon
peered
down
at
The Wind
and
The Tree
and
She sighed
as they
danced
in the
last
nights
of
Summer.
