the earth
falls apart
around me?
The Sun
incinerating
the breath
from my
lips.
The ground
buckling
beneath my
feet.
The seas
all overflowing,
washing away
indiscretions.
So what
if
all the stars
and all the planets
fall
down
around me?
The heavens
left empty
and black,
no constellations
to anchor
my vision,
no Moon
to be
my muse.
So what
if
the Universe
crumbles
around me?
