Hotel Certovka was originally baroque house, it is situated in Pragues historical quarter Mala Strana (The Lesser Town), close to the Charles Bridge.
Composition Details A Black & White adjustment layer was added to desaturate the base image. The image was duplicated and a 15 pixel Gaussian Blur was added and then the central portion was erased. A grain texture was added to a white layer, the blend mode changed to Linear Burn and the opacity reduced to 16%. On a new layer the edges were then faded with a very soft white brush.

Lovely work, David – the central image ‘pops’ nicely. I don’t know how you remember what you did to the image, but I’m grateful for the info :))
Many thanks for you’re kind comments and support Colleen.
