The only petrol station for miles is at Woods Point, Victoria which is where I took this image. It was 4pm and I was getting quite low. A local directed me to the station but there was no one in attendance. I crossed the street to a general store where I discovered that the proprietor was also the owner of the service station. Only after a great deal of pleading would he sell me some fuel and then only the bare minimum to get me to the next service station in Healsville. All through the pumping exercise the guy groused about how he was doing me a great service and how I should carry more fuel with me (useful note for next time). The petrol he sold me was probably 25% higher in price than the next dearest price in Victoria. I can understand the high price some what (he probably contributed to the garage roof fund) but not the rudeness so by way of compensation, I helped myself to this photograph. Travellers be warned.
