Image of Puffing Billy in Emerald Lake station in the Dandenongs near Melbourne. It was a public holiday and a nice day so Billy had had a hard morning hauling tourists up to the lake. I think that can be seen from his condition which is usually pristine. He has just arrived in the station and you can just imagine the expression “Phew – thank goodness for that”.

I started taking photography seriously in 2008 when I purchased my first DSLR. I have since moved on to a D700 and I am loving it. I love landscapes but also enjoy taking images of just about anything that moves and a few things that don’t, I think that its just fantastic to be able to capture and share the incredible sights there are in this world. Take a look at what I have and please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
