Young Koala (<1yr) shot in Healsville, Victoria on 19/5/09 using a Nikon D80 and 70-300 lens. Settings were 180mm 1/200 sec f4.8 ISO 200. The backlight on this shot was wonderful bringing out that halo effect that I couldn’t resist.

I started taking photography seriously in 2008 when I purchased my first DSLR. I have since moved on to a D700 and I am loving it. I love landscapes but also enjoy taking images of just about anything that moves and a few things that don’t, I think that its just fantastic to be able to capture and share the incredible sights there are in this world. Take a look at what I have and please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
