Why are we so afraid of life and talking about love?
We seem to have so many rules when it comes to that nice topic!
What’s wrong with saying I like sex and being touched by her!
Or how her soft sweet body feels lying close to me!
What’s wrong with my lips kissing her down below her neck!
Without the strange and silly stares as if it hurt you deep.
What’s wrong with me telling you that I like all these things?
Without you thinking I am a freak who’s mouth needs to be cleaned.
But when I look at my TV and see the things they say!
Like bombing and killing in Irak and ten children killed today.
Or turning the next station and here is some more fighting.
And car bombs killing hundreds more at some farmers market.
And we sit and look with out a care as if this talk is normal!
And then our little ones look at this and think thats the way it ought to be. Because they saw it on TV.
I think that this is evil it teaches others hate, and when we see it every day with dinner on our plate.
It becomes our main attraction we only learn to hate.
So why can’t we talk about love and all that its about.
I feel better just lying here with you snuggled up to me.
And your long soft hair beats talking about the bombs dropped from the air!
And when I say I love to kiss you down below the neck, it sure sounds better than saying someone was shot dead in conflict.
So what’s the matter with us all, when talking about sex makes us nervous.
But as soon as we say someone’s killed or hate is on the rise.
We sit around with real big eyes with out one ounce of pride.
No body get offend when sitting at the table, eating dinner with out a blink as someone talks of war.
But let one person talk of sex and eyeballs start to roll.
What is this fear we have of sex its better than a war!
I think that we have looked too long they are controlling how we think!
We need to find a book to read to open up our minds.
And learn to have a closer look at that evil thing called TV.
And lets not forgot that this thing called sex that makes so many nervous was a present from above for everyone of us!
A look at us and where we stand !
