Season of change by

Snows swept in from the old cold north.
As my mind begins to accept the change.
As my mind tries to tell my soul another seasons come.
My soul a thing that welcomes spring and lives when summer comes.
And as the fall come into view my soul sings with the changing leaves.
But as the days draw nearer to that hated time.
I watch in sadness as I retreat with each falling leaf of fall.
I watch as I cry inside oh no not this again.
It seems to me that time moves too fast its winter time again.
And as my soul peeks from its room I hear its tender sigh.
Reminding me of what’s to come I think I am gonna cry.
