“A song”
The winds whisper out your name every single day.
Your life was taken suddenly as you sat an wrote to me.
You wrote your love so tenderly I read it all with tears.
An then I saw a tear drop where you cried out to me.
What sadness did you have that day that caused you so much pain.
I sit here in this holy place a place that you once loved
an wonder as if I were you what is it that you thought?
I sit and think of all the things that I love in life.
An your face comes to me a thing so wonderful my eyes fill up with tears.
And as I sit and think about these things I slowly start to cry.
Its not because I feel your pain, that I will never know.
Its all the things that I once knew slowly disappear.
One look around in this holy place this place I brought you to.
This place that made us both laugh every time we came.
What was the magic that it had that made me want to sing.
An you my child could sing so sweet that even the birds joined in.
I sit and cry at all we had and all that might of been.
An as the light leaves this place I hear your voice again.
You call my name loud and clear come to me my dear.
As if your voice was in my ear I hear your lonely cry.
An like a dying bird in flight shot down by hunters arrows.
You call to me my loving child please daddy will you follow me to our favorite place.
Where dreams of love and happiness live on forever like in this holy place.
I hear you love I will not come for I know not where you are.
But come tonight in my dreams we will meet an share a song.
And when the morning finally comes I will never leave your side.
