“Vacation Bliss”
Settle back my sweet this tents perfect for us.
I thought this little surprise would help to flame the fire.
I know this is our vacation.
Its not your kind of thing.
But here we are alone in the world just you an I and god.
Don’t worry about the little things that fly by in the night!
The only thing that will be biting you is me my sweet tonight.
So settle back my love I know this is a shock.
I thought this was a lovely way to say that I love you.
An take us back to a time when you an I were young.
So close your eyes and remember back to a time when you and I were young.
And the whole world seemed like a place that was only made for us.
I am here to keep you company and help you find the mood.
For all the little special things that exist when we were young.
Look out there at the golden night the light will guide the way.
To help me find the little buttons on this lovely shirt!
Don’t worry sweet I can do it all, I really know my way.
I can remember back to the first time that I took it off.
And when I find the last little button well baby next I’ll do your pants!
An yes my love I can remember then too… we were lying in the grass.
Oh look how wonderful the light is tonight its golden like your hair.
Just like the first time I saw you as you were walking in the park.
An now I see this golden light matches that lovely little bra !
Don’t worry baby I will wait until the night is old, an then my sweet I’ll take that off and put you in the mood.
You think this is a little tight inside this lovely tent?
Well don’t you worry about a thing you’ll be holding me tonight!
Now see you didn’t even know I got your pants undone.
And now for the crowning touch lets get them panty’s down.
Oh my you look so splendid in this special light.
I think I want to take my time an look at you tonight.
The light it matches your golden skin as you lie back down.
I know that twinkle in your eyes an that smile so well you think your being sly but all these years together these not too much that you can hide.
Look at you your so sweet still holding that lovely little bra.
You might as well take it off your mine tonight my love!
Now come on baby just this once lets do it in the tent.
And make pretend that were kids in love once again.

I’m not quite sure why, but this poem turns my thoughts to the song ‘Maggie”.
“But to me you’re as fair as you were Maggie – when you and I were young”. (although I think the words of the poem are much spicier than those of the song). Oh to be young and carefree again – and to have the flexibility to negotiate a tent. Lovely place for a tent and a romantic tryst.
David Roman replied
Did Rod Stewart sing that song? I remember it but not well enough to know the words. But this is a nice little ting and I think I could do a tent again ! Well for one night at least!LOL
Thanks for coming by!
Clive
Thank you David, yes I did, and a great New Year to you also my friend
Romo
It’s still a spicy PG…..yet very sweet:)
Agnes McGuinness
Maggie (not the same song as Rod Stewart). Clive’s right.
I went to bed at 8pm for a quick nap, and I only woke up at 2am, so I’m particularly vulnerable to sweet and spicy. What an epic for lover’s you have written, my friend, and it’s so romantic. Under that sky of Karen’s, who could resist. Bravo.
David Roman replied
Thanks a lot my friend I never hear a Celtic song until you posted one. LOL I am a new Your guy and maybe theres a Celtic club or Pub in Manhattan but thats not music I ever heard until I joined RB.
Glad you like it Agnes so you like camping too!LOL
Sharon House
That is a very nice version of “Maggie” from Agnes – the one I know is by Foster and Allen, same melody, but different lyrics (how unusual is that)?
David Roman replied
Foster and Allen can you find that for me and post it?
I have no idea who they are at all. I thought you were talking about the one from Rod Stewart but thats really different. Glad you like this one Ms Sharon.
David Roman replied
OK Agnes posted that song ! Hummm I don’t see how my poem reminds you of that but if it does then thats fine. As long as it moves you thats very nice.

The last time I slept in a tent, I nearly had my nose bitten of by a donkey in the morning. I think he thought it was a new species of grass. LOL
