"Dreams of them"

Sitting in my gallery on a slow day I saw a photo I took last month an decided to share it with you an as I waited on a couple of customers I wrote this little poem.
Hope you like it.

“Dreams of Them”
Nights come lonely at times.
As we all know.
An then the shadows start to form on the bedroom walls reminding me of them.
It sweeps the room from top to bottom as if it had a mind, had a soul.
And there I lie deep in fear of what I dare not know.
I guess it could be them coming for me too.
Them long gone but not forgotten reminders of my past.
An as I start to see their faces my fear won’t disappear as the next shadow appears.
Who are these things that come to me as if they were my friends.
Dancing from one place to another in my darkest hour?
Who are you my inner self ask as you move my way.
Are you friends that I once loved or those that never loved me when you where alive.
I know this is a silly thought your harmless shadows dancing on the walls.
What more could you be.
But then again my inner self is questioning once again.
What are you really as you dance from my ceiling to my floor.
Are you someone that I once knew or just my mind playing games with me again?

    David,this is a magical piece of poetry and excelent in its composition. It makes the mind to be provocted and reminds me of my childhood in the midst of the night,many others it will bring back no doubt many thoughts of the past and present.

    Some how we always have the child in us even when we think its grown up.

    wonderful capture, great image. but think it would be better suited to black and white photography. They have to be coloured to go into All about flowers. hugsxxx

    But thats fine if you think it gos in B&W then your the boss lady.

    Cafes going well have the air on todays its so hot gee 38 grad inside the kitchen 28 outside its 37 thats hot.
