“Super Hero”

Wind rising up before my eyes playing with my sight.
I take this curve and down shift into my third gear
an head on out to the end of town it been a long long night.
Streets lights dimly light this part of town
Way off in the hills I see the twinkling of some stars.
I keep the top down on this baby its hot as hell tonight.
Not much on the streets tonight the same old tired folks.
Right down the road I think I see a vision.
She stranded trying to hitch a ride.
Should I?
Or?
The boy in me says time for an adventure.
The man in me says ride on its been a real long night.
I drive closer and there before my eyes is a creature only in a comic book.
A super hero.
She was 6 feet tall an every thing a bad boy really needs.
I slowed my mustang down to a trot and took a careful look.
An something in me said take off baby before she has you hooked.
But no the bad boy in me says come on lets have a little fun.
So I pulled up and said hop in and we road off into the wind.
She sat there with her knees together and smiled a little smile.
An then she looked over at me and said 100 for an hour.
Oh no I thought how could this be not this super hero.
An then she said it one more time and said it even louder.
My mustang cobra was in 4th gear its engine growing louder.
So I couldn’t really understand so she said it a little louder.
Hey daddy O thats my price 100 for an hour.
An then my Mustang hit 5th gear and took off in the hill.
I looked at her and said hell no I only got five dollars.
An then she looked me in the eyes and said baby pull over.
I took my chance and gave her my best smile and dropped my car down one gear an said this word to her.
I hate to do this to you baby.
But I ain’t what you think.
It looks to me like you will go off to jail tonight.
If this was a different place and I was not a cop,
I might of given you a chance but not for a hundred bucks tonight.
So just relax don’t make a fuss I’ll take you in with style.
No one has got to know your secret I’ll keep my mouth closed.
