"Flight"

Sitting in my gallery I came up with a poem and decided to post it with a new flower that was hiding in my HD.
hope you like it and the poem too.
And today a friend bought a card thank you so much that was very kind.

Mighty winds sweep me up high beyond the clouds.
So far I go with you my friend you help me fly away.
How wonderful the feeling is with your strength to lift me up.
Up above the clouds so dark to a brighter world.
You lift me in your mighty arms an take me on a ride.
To lands so far away filled with strange men who speak another sound.
An smells so full of wonder that my heart beats madly with the smell that pulls me in.
What magic is this that you show to me?
Men from far away filled with laughter not like in my land.
A place so cold that men have lost their love for life.
An here the children run an laugh just like me when I was young before I lost my soul.
An now I ride your mighty wings and look down on a place so full of love it brings a smile to me.
A strange feeling that I lost as time swept my soul away.
You lift me up an off we go to where… I wish I knew.
Where people sing in the streets as they wash the clothes.
How is it that they have the joy of singing as they work.
I wish that I could sing but sadly that has left me too.
An here I am in a world filled with men so full of love like I once was.
Where have you taken me my friend or can I call you that?
You take me from my warm bed to a place so full of life I wish you had not come.
For here I am a small thing so full of sorrow I wish that I could run.
But where?
You lift me up an take me off to another place.
A place where people cry and here I feel so all alone I wish that I were dead.
They wash their clothes an sadly hate all that they talk to.
An walk the streets with fear of one another.
As I cry behind tall glass walls made from all their dreams.
Filled with nothing more than greed mans ego is his god.
What is it that you wish to show me as we fly up high.
An now you’ve left me for the night as I tumble out of bed in search of you.
An as I look out on the night an think of all I’ve seen.
A smile so strange comes to me as if it were a dream.
I think of men so full of love laughing with each other.
And as I sit and think of them my heart starts to flutter with a freedom new to me as if I were a child.
An like a man in a trance I start to pack my bags.
