Storm signals off the coast of Venice as I travel to my hotel in a water taxi and view one of the most memorable events of my trip white light coming through a wall of gray clouds creating a visual effect on a small island off of Venice.

    And then a new thing happened I started writing and bang now I got a surprise so I guess you could say this years been good to me.

    What a beautiful image did you stitch two photographs together or did you take it with panoramic lens or something? I love the choice of mono for this it really does add so much atmosphere….i have such a thing for B&W’s it’s really disturbing LOL :0)

    Not too big on effects soory to say maybe because I dont know how !

    Glad you are a purist not many left nowadays…..stitching is where you can take two separate images in camera slightly over lapping and then in post production stitch them together to form one image….for those people who don’t have panoramic lenses and too poor like me to afford one LOL

    well done on being in the top 10 for the mirror refection challenge :) this is a lovely image that reminds me of old vintage black and white postcards, I’m a bit of a collector, my favorate ones you need a loop to really enjoy the picture on the postcard, this is just the same, thanks to joiecool who posted the larger version, she kinda provided a loop.
