David is the illegitimate son of an Arabian walkie-talkie breeder and coackroach juggler, famous for his talent of deciphering toffee in confined spaces without the aid of glass.
Having graduated from the Eastern Tibetan Palpitation College, David became the first western man to mystify leather, he also was the first to bring leech fighting over to Britain from Zanzibar.
After graduation he drifted from job to job. He was fired from the White Star Line when his unique sense of humour ran amok and he gambled away real chips on the roulette table at the expense of a black belt door to door submarine salesman. Rumours have it that he was also employed as an upside down chef in the Poseidon Adventure, and was best known for his bread sandwiches.
He eventually found gainful employment as an amusing entertainer/dancer during the French Renaissance, though only being involved in stage shows that featured two-legged pirates.
David was responsible for the discovery of South though branded a fraud, until Dr. Ceiling-Rose discovered North putting his own theory into context.
It was soon after this success that he contracted a rare tropical disease causing him to use fly spray and hair wax in his morning ablutions.
Through his illness David became a recluse, living in a travelling shoebox and was forced to experiment with the once familiar “Electro Loin Diviner”. His groin eventually developed the power to project holograms of future events onto the side of buildings. The science fiction series “Quantum Leap” was based on these talented hips and they were the inspiration for several Jean Michel Jarre concerts.
