There was a noisy party in the apartment downstairs this evening, so I was glad I did not photograph earlier in the day. It gave me a chance to get out of the house and near the ocean. It is so much more calming siting on a rock next to my tripod for the 20 odd minutes that this was exposed for than sitting on the sofa with headphones on cursing the partygoers.

I also turned right were I normally turn left up on one of my regular headlands, so while it is a very familiar coastline for people that follow this website, it is at least not the exact same rocks over and over again.

This image is part of my personal photo per day project.

The aim is to take 1 photo a day and publish it on 2012inphotos.com.au

This would be a huge undertaking for most people, but even more so for me. For the last 2 years I have suffered from chronic fatigue (cfs, me, cfids, etc) and while I am far better than I have been, some days I know I won’t be able to get out of bed, many more I won’t leave the apartment

I hope this will assist in my recovery by forcing me out on days when I can manage it, and keeping me creative on days that I can
