I was having an ok day health and energy wise today so decided this afternoon to do a walk I had been wanting to do all year, up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse above Palm Beach. It was a perfect winters day for it, sunny but still cool enough. The views from half way up are great back over Pittwater and Palm Beach and from the top the views of the central coast are quite impressive too.

A month ago I would not have been able to do this walk, it is very steep in parts and steep walks don’t mix well with CFS people. I would like to think I am getting better but I suspect it is all just part of the cycle. Either way I am sure I will pay for it next week but for today it is worth it.

I hope this will assist in my recovery by forcing me out on days when I can manage it, and keeping me creative on days that I can
