Simply stunning David, there used to be a man fetched one of these down to the river bank where i went fishing, he used to fly her from one of the picnic benches to his arm, it was an awesome sight

This is just great mate, Last year I took about 160 shots of loads of different birds of prey at a falconry visit at beacon fell country park in Lancashire, they were cracking shots on the LCD and to my horror when I got home my ISO settings were at 1600, i had to bin the lot, I could have cried.
I did learn something from that day though LOL..

They say at Muncaster, Owl’s aint so wise. Apparently they’re a bit dim witted. But who cares, its a neat trick turning your head right round even if its not clever. Terrific image David & the selective colouring works superbly.

A beautiful portrait of a truly awesome bird. They’re returning to nest in Britain now and have been sighted in North Yorkshire. Trouble is, they will eat ANYTHING, including buzzards, lambs, cats, dogs, hedgehogs & probably small children if they get a chance!
