I shot this a few minutes ago, after the sun had vanished beneath the horizon. It’s exactly a year ago today that Melbourne sustained millions of dollars worth of damage (Friday 4 February 2011) in the flood that was the southern aftermath of Cyclone Yasi.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/90 sec, ISO 400, focal length 125mm.

Looks like wattle beautifully silhouetted in the foreground? Love the colours too David.
Spot-on, Georgie. Yes, it’s wattle, and I’m so glad you like the sky.
