Looks like a shot of the Kremlin in Moscow, right?
Wrong!
Look carefully – it’s actually the side of a Melbourne tram, as it went past Flinders Street Station yesterday morning (10 January 2012). See the little blue “Coin Only” sign? And the rectangles with gold-yellow strips down the bottom are actually the tram doors!
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/180 sec, ISO 200, focal length 125mm.

Thanks so much, Tereza. I was actually shooting the early morning scenes across the river when I turned around and saw this tram rumbling past. Just a lucky shot!!
You’re up to your old tricks again I see David – well done and I think its a brilliant shot! Cheers, Graham.
Thanks for your kind words, Graham! This was shot just off Princes Bridge – and to think I was looking the “wrong” way across the Yarra when this tram went past!

Stunning shot David! I love it. The DoF really messes with you.
You are very kind, Jordan. You have no idea how swiftly I had to react to get this shot.

Thank you, Dean – a lot of luck here, because there were pedestrians and other vehicles. I had to be extremely quick on the shot!

I love the way they do these. It also amazes me the way that you can still see out of the Windows.
My project for the weekend, Sir Ranald, will be to find out exactly how this is done!
