It Takes Guts by

It’s time this racket was exposed!

I was concentrating on the single anchoring knot on this tennis racket (or ``racquet’’, depending on where you live). But when I looked at the result on my computer screen, I realised the lens had also picked out minuscule yellow fibres from a tennis ball as well, that were stuck to the nylon gutting.

I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D. F6.7, 1/180 sec, ISO 200, focal length 35mm.

Great Shot. I also like how you can see a refelction of the other strings in the racket frame

  • Many thanks, Robert. I’m so glad you spotted that tiny detail! Really appreciate it.
