CONTEST: Write Your Own Title For This Quirky Image

David McMahon

Melbourne, Australia

Artist's Description

Here’s the challenge: You can write your own title for this shot. It can be funny, punny, quirky, poignant, reflective, historical, hysterical – anything you like.
All you have to do to enter is submit your title as a comment here.
Yes, you can enter as many times as you want, on as many days as you want. You can keep coming back, looking at other people’s titles and keep adding your own. The contest will be open for just over 48 hours and will close at midday (Melbourne time) on Monday 7 February, which is 3am Friday in London and 10pm Thursday in New York.
There’s only one rule: no profanity. Have fun …. I’m throwing the gauntlet down NOW!
Just for the record, this image was shot near the waterfront in Quebec City in 2005.
AND HERE ARE THE RESULTS:

In tenth place we have David Davies with ``Shy Babushka!’’

In ninth place we have Kay Kempton Raade with ``Does my apron make my butt look big?’’

In eighth place we have Better than Jaak Studios with ``Scandal at the Russian Mrs. Potato Head Unveiling: Unmasked and De-Faced Heads Will Roll!’’

In seventh place we have Woodie with ``Matryoshka Babushka just doesn’t stack up!’’

In sixth place we have Ellis Morley Photography with ``Be a doll, stop Russian around and take a look at me!!’’

In fifth place we have Dedmanshootn with ``Putting granny on a pedestal.’’

In fourth place we have LeslieBC with ``Papa is going to have one big surprise when he gets off the ship.’’

In third place we have Linda Bianic with ``Mmmm, I hope THIS ship has my Chanel order …. this Christmas outfit is soooo last season!’’

In second place we have LadyFi with ``Babushka felt as if she were trapped in the wrong body.’’
AND THE JOINT WINNERS ARE:

Leah Wilson with ``Babushka tries to smuggle five for the price of one onto cruise ship.‘’ and Tony Crehan with ``Stop complaining in there! How else can five of us get to America for one fare?’’

I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Canon EOS 3000, using Kodak film.
