These vine rows were a great sight under a grey sky at the De Bortoli vineyard in the Yarra Valley, a verdant part of my home state, Victoria. (740 views and 31 favourites on 12 October 2011.)
During our tour of the picturesque valley yesterday (20 December 2010) I just happened to meet Di Jenkins, a fellow Red Bubbler whom I added to my watchlist several months ago. Small world, isn’t it?
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/80 sec, ISO 200, focal length 108mm.

It’s law here that you drink white while cooking then at night red, it’s wide open after that. Well done.
That law makes perfect sense to me, Michael! I shall adhere to it over the festive season!

Love your composition David – striking shot! Prefer a red Christmas to a white! Cheers!
Thanks very much, Di. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas – with lots of red!

The fact that you said it is ``different’’ is music to my ears. Thank you very much.

fantastic capture!
Thank you, Dinni – the perspective worked because I was shooting from the crest of a hill, hence the arcs, rather than straight lines!
