Yes, it is possible to celebrate light and reflection, many hours after the sun has set.
The neon caught in the curved screens of these NYPD police motorcycles is a clear hint that this was shot in Times Square. And if you look really closely, you can see the light reflected in the chrome handlebars – and even in the visors of the helmets.
It’s always a challenge, taking night shots without a tripod – but one that really keeps you on your toes.
I guess this isn’t just a case of NYPD Blue, but really an example of NYPD pink, yellow, purple and orange as well!
