When I shot this roof structure in Long Island, I wanted more than just the exact geometry of its construction, which is why I included a tall indoor tree to break up the notion of controlled precision.
It’s interesting that most of the roof structure is a silhouette, but the sunlight casts a bronze-like glow on a couple of the metal struts.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F9.5, 1/250 sec, ISO 200, focal length 45mm.
