I shot this yesterday (2 July 2010) in Central Park, New York. It was a warm summer evening with only a whisper of a breeze and we were walking past a lake on our way to Strawberry Fields, the John Lennon memorial, when I just happened to turn around and see this. (2,192 views on 9 November 2013.)
I had to find the right angle for this shot, to frame the reflection so that the foliage as depicted on the surface of the water formed a dark frame for the skyscraper, the clear blue sky and the wisps of white cloud.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/250 sec, ISO 200, focal length 45mm.
