Looking up at a water tank?

  • It’s certainly looking up, Jan – and I can see your line of reasoning, but it’s not a water tank.

    A silo ?

  • G’day Arrowman – looks like a silo, doesn’t it? But there’s not a “grain” of accuracy there!

Looking up at part of the Statue of Liberty? (I saw your post of a cafe awning in New York.)

  • I’m so glad you saw that cafe awning shot, Jan. No, this is not part of Liberty Enlightening The World – but a very logical try there!

Looking up a lighthouse? (For once I get to your puzzle before it’s solved! :-))

  • Rolling out the red carpet for you, Themis …. hmmmm, yes, it is indeed looking up at a lighthouse. Well solved … applause. Gimme a few moments to post a link to you, and to post the follow-up question. (In the meantime, you get to give us all a question as well ….

    A Mineret ?

  • Nice try, especially given the fact I was in Malaysia in January. No, not a minaret.

  • Could easily have been a radar tower, Arrowman – but see Themis’ answer above. Have posted a follow-up question now ….

You won’t believe this, but I watched only the first half hour of the first episode of Lost, and not a minute afterwards. I’ll go with the IMDB and say ‘Jack and Hurley’

  • Spot-on again, Themis! You take the honours for a second time. And you can ask me a follow-up question – I’m ready for the challenge. So throw down that gauntlet ….
