This street performer with a strong French accent was working the crowd, late in the evening on the long Easter weekend at Sydney’s Darling Harbour in 2010. 206 views on 20 July 2011.
I shot a couple of portraits while he interacted with the crowd. Then he laughed aloud when I returned his greeting and his repartee in an equally strong French accent.
I immediately hit the shutter to capture his expression of surprise and delight. Doesn’t he remind you of John Cleese in his Fawlty Towers days?
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/90 sec, ISO 400, focal length 125mm.
