The yellow and purple at the centre of this beautiful tulip caught my eye, especially the tiny dots of pollen on the interior of the petals.
This was shot with my normal lens, not a macro – and I used the height of the flower itself to emphasise the depth of field against the leaves further down.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F6.7, 1/45 sec, ISO 800, focal length 78mm.
