It’s not some mysterious fan-like object, just copies of my latest novel, Muskoka Maharani, which is being released today (15 March 2010) by Penguin Books India.

It is a wartime love story woven into a tale of espionage. It begins in a Melbourne newspaper office and ends in the Vatican.

I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F5.6, 1/45 sec, ISO 800, focal length 88mm.

Featured in FEEL, DON’T COPY, March 2010.

    Hi David,
When will this be available in the UK?
    Cheers Neil

  • HI Neil, thanks for your generous query. It’ll be available in the UK as soon as I get a UK publisher. In the meantime, it is available online, as was my first novel, direct from Penguin or from other online booksellers.

I just followed the link to buy direct from Penguin India…I’m not waiting for a published copy in the UK!! I have two questions..is it in English? and where on the site can I translate from rupees to sterling (I have searched, but I couldn’t find the answer)! I see you have stated it is available via other online booksellers, please list these if you don’t mind so I can hotfoot to get my copy!

  • That’s so generous and supportive. May I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Yes, it’s in English. And Rs 275 converts to four pounds! Many of my blog friends bought my first novel direct from Penguin, but I should have a list of other online sellers in a coupla days! Once again, my thanks. Would love to have your critique!

How much is Rs275.00 in £ GB sterling?

  • Sorry, Neil – I would have told you, but I didn;t want it to sound like a classic twist-yer-arm hard sell! Rs 275 converts to four quid.

Seems about right as I’d converted it to US $6.
    A very reasonable price.
    Will look into it further.
    Cheers Neil

  • Your maths was spot-on, Neil. Many thanks. Really appreciate it.

Can we get it in California?

  • Yes, Shulie. At this stage, not in a bookshop, but the book works out to about $6 or $7, brand-new from the publishers, Penguin. The link is here and I reckon there’ll be a few more online sellers in the next couple of days. ……
