I was recently at a food stall at a fairground here in Melbourne when I spotted this lady, several metres away.
Her two Minnie Mouse balloons were bobbing above her head at the time – so I dropped everything, grabbed my camera, and decided to run through the crowd to get a shot of the balloons.
But as I weaved through the busy walkway to catch up with her, either the wind shifted or she pulled the balloons down by their cords. Suddenly, it was a much harder shot to take … but the challenge was so appealing.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/250 sec, ISO 200, focal length 125mm.
