How Many Circles Can You See? Start Counting ... by

Looks like the Pink Ladies from “Grease” are in town ….

But no, this was just a completely mismatched wheel on a car I spotted yesterday. It really was the odd one out, but it gave me a great photo opportunity.

So tell me, how many circles did YOU see? Even incomplete circles, as well as inner and outer circles can be counted ….

I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/180 sec, ISO 400, focal length 125mm.

Oh it’s too late here for me to even try counting David lol! Really cool image…love all the circles and the pink :)

  • But thanks for taking the trouble to comment, Shelly. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the pink wheel – the other were all regulation colour!

I got up to 22 and then thought I was going round in circles ….

  • Someone I showed the original file to said 26 circles. But, like you, I got to about 25 and then everything started going round and round in, well, in circles!

I counted 24 circles (or part thereof) before my eyes started playing games with me too.

  • Thanks so much for giving it a go. Funny how our minds start playing tricks with us by the time we get to about 20 circles!

I got to 24 as well. Well worth taking with all the circles!

  • Thanks, Dusker – hope you had fun counting them!

26, i reckon, although a couple could be dodgy.

  • I reckon you’re right – if you count the pink circle visible on the tyre surface. Thanks for giving it a try!

Mismatched? What was the color of the car?
    Great find! :)

  • It didn’t match the other three wheels on the car – nor did it match the colour of the car. My (probably 100 per cent accurate) assumption is that this wheel was bought (cheap) at a wreckers’ yard, as is commonly the case.
