A simple shot of two Melbourne timber benches (on a tiled first-floor walkway) that look like two identical pieces of a giant 3D puzzle.
Because I wanted a bird’s eye view of the benches as they melded into the tiled floor and the soft reflections from the overhead lights, I went up to the next floor and shot this frame.
The horizontal orange strip on top of the image is actually part of the balcony on the next floor – and I thought it would be an interesting way to anchor the top of the image, using the same colour scheme.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F5.6, 1/10 sec, ISO 800, focal length 68mm.
