Chrome and highly polished metal are a simple lodestone for photographers.
This beautifully maintained MG was parked under Princes Bridge a few months ago and the afternoon sunlight was just perfect for a tight frame showing the distinctive grille, lights and bumper bars.
I was also intrigued by the way the light shimmied across sections of the hand-crafted metal, creating reflections of different intensity.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my work in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F6.7, 1/180 sec, ISO 200, focal length 75mm.

Thanks very much – it was actually a tougher shot than it might seem, because of the variation in light!
