Artist's Description

Put on your thinking caps! You can have as many guesses as you want.

The first part of the question was solved by Sylvia, who was quick to work out that it was shot on a train platform. The second part was solved by LindaBianic who identified the city as Melbourne. Yes, it was shot underground, at Parliament station on Melbourne’s City Loop.

Here is the follow-up question: which November day (observed in many countries of the world) has a very strong and a very famous parliamentary comnnection? Solved almost immediately by EllisMorleyPhotography, who correctly said the day was Guy Fawkes Day, after the gunpowder plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament.

I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my work in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F5.6, 1/45 sec, ISO 800, focal length 125mm.

Featured in WALL OF THE WORLD, January 2010.
