This was shot at Luna Park, Sydney, late in the evening on Easter Saturday 2009. These costumed staff members were consummate professionals, exchanging banter with holiday-makers – and never to busy to pose for photographs with tourists.
But I wanted a completely unposed, natural shot to highlight their costumes, and I reckon I shot four or five impromptu frames before I got this shot.
I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Taken with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/90 sec, ISO 400, focal length 68mm.
