A marvellous image, David, conveying the full horror of these oversize, over-noisy, landscape scarring and lethal (for bird life) monsters. Let’s hope they’re just a stop-gap measure.

  • Initially it was just a grab shot when I was out with the dogs and taken mostly for the sky. I certainly don’t like them as they certainly spoil the landscape and I certainly agree with your description. Only posted here for a challenge. Thanks for taking the time to comment John

Nice catch David and that sky is awesome…it’s a pity that alternative fuel sources have to be so damn ugly though. Solar panels on roofs – outta sight, outta mind ;o) Good luck for the challenge, or if it’s already happened I hope it went well for you ;o)

  • Thanks for the kind words and the good wishes Zoe, appreciated. Tidal power would be even better…that way it’s under the sea and can’t be seen!

Great sky and movement captured in those lethal blades David, completely agree with everything John says above!!

  • Thank you for you kind words Martin, I can only agree with John’s comment, the noise from them is disgusting and the potential threat to bird life can only be guessed at.

Superb David, great lighting and silhouettes with the blades looking as though they are going about 2000rpm!

  • Thanks very much Bob, appreciated as always

So many of these popping up these days, nice one mate.

  • Thanks again Davo, you’re right they are popping up very quickly and in some cases spoiling the landscape natural view.
