Another image of Ashgill Force, this time taken from behind the waterfall. As far as I know there are only two falls in the North East of England which you can actually walk behind, the other being Gibsons Cave but you have to scale a wall to do so!

Beautiful David! did you get wet?
Thanks Jon, didn’t get wet! ;-))
A marvellous image David…Love the way you have shot this…Fav.
Thank you John and thanks for the favorite too.
sensitive and delicate: well done, David
Excellent! Hope this wasn’t one of the waterfalls you hurt your back for ;o) Seriously though David, it’s a great shot. I love the tree silhouetted against the sky… do I see tents?
No…this one is easy to get too and no climbing! Thanks for the comment Akkra
Outstanding image, David!
Thank you Béla, appreciate your comments.
That is so cool! Well done David
Thanks Davo, it probably was cool but I didn’t get wet! LOL
This isbeautiful, love just seeing through the waterfall, great idea and brillantly captured. : )
Thanks very much Karen, appreciated.
Wow that is amazing David, great shot, what is the the blue smoke in the distance?
Thanks Shaun, it was an evening shoot and some people had decided to camp there overnight and had a fire going, which is the smoke you can see, plus their blue tent! I’ve not been back since to re-shoot the scene but I feel that the camp and smoke add something to the image…perhaps it’s just me….;-)
