Inclement Mood
Another moody image of Derwent Water taken just as it began to rain, the Autumnal colours were certainly what attracted me in this image, even on an inclement day such as this they seemed to brighten the scene and lift the spirits.

A lovely capture David. Bright and warm on one side of the lake and wintery on the other. Well done
Davo

Thank you very much Davo, the whole area is full of micro climates, an 8 mile drive and there was beautiful sunshine!

Beautiful vista David. I can see I’m going to have to look out the walking boots :))
David Lewins LRPS replied 21 days ago
Thank you once again for the kind words Jim, when you sort out your footwear I’ll meet you for a walk in the Cairngorms, but don’t wear your kilt…it gets a little draughty on those hills! ;-))

Excellent contrast David, wonderful autumnal colours in the foreground, must have been quite sight to behold!
David Lewins LRPS replied 20 days ago
Thank you very much Martin, it was very strange light and took a .9 and .6 ND grad to control the exposure on the sky. The rain was falling over Keswick on the other side of the lake and another shower was just heading in from behind me. It was literally sunshine and showers and very rapidly!

Oustanding, David. And much more my idea of an English summer day (speaking as one who survived quite a few years of them!)
David Lewins LRPS replied 20 days ago
That’s the Lake District for you…winter in summer and four seasons in one and as for the rest of the UK, much the same really! LOL Thanks for the comments John
