When I turned this side to side and up and down i had a different view to exam…. not sure which way I preferred it… so this is good!!!! Wonderful piece for the viewer to play around with…. that’s the quality of a good abstract, Right???? A fav!!! Love your work!!! Brenda
Your a darling Brenda, thank you very very much, david
Beautiful abstract. My dad, an aeronautical/aerospace engineer, was a Radio Control airplane hobbiest for years. He would find airplane blueprints in his Aviation Weekly magazine, scale them down and build these planes from balsa wood, airplane glue, and some special thin sheath fabric that would fit over the body. Half the time, the men didn’t paint them, because they were going to eventually crash, often sooner rather than later. Of course the planes had these tiny engines. Now, getting to your painting. I see in this, the skeleton of the wing design (on the left), and the tiny engine (the rectangle). For me, the ellipse represents pieces, whether wire or string or shaped balsa, or whatever, that might be used in the making of the aircraft. Of course no one else would see all of this. It’s a beautiful painting, aesthetically, regardless of what one sees or doesn’t. But I wanted you to know what it means to me. :)
A lovely description frannie, for someone else it could be a fishbone or harmony or just???That`s why I don`t think titles are that important,it`s what one sees or wants to see, thanks very much for the nice compliment, regards david
