The Airbourne Edge XT-912 is a “weight shift” aircraft type. Unlike the more conventional 3-axis aircraft, these do not have ailerons or a tail. Control is achieved by moving the centre of gravity of the pod and up to two occupants under the wing.
Although it may look like a hang glider with a motor, this model is a fully certified primary category aircraft and has an endurance of about six hours flying time, equating to around 360 nautical miles (approx. 720 Kilometres).
